DEEP ("One Summer Night")

The Pitch

DEEP is about a girl who comes to a seaside town searching for her sister, who has gone missing. The game is a cozy game in a similar vein to Stardew Valley, but with a lonely and wistful undertone. Your character would interact with the townsfolk, gradually building a sense of community and support, but also slowly uncovering the town's deeper mysteries.

Behind The Scenes

This soundtrack was primarily produced using Sibelius and Logic Pro X. I've included screenshots of one of the some of the logic sessions, one of the Sibelius files, and some of my original ideas from when the theme was first announced. My original thought was that The Docks would be a day/night cycle, partially in response to the word "night" in "One Summer Night," but I think they ended up feeling more like distinct areas.
